This is Calvin, our deeply loved, and nearly 17 year-old Yorkie. Calvin had many hard to manage old-age problems - loss of vision, hearing, senility, etc. and needed to be cared for all the time. While many people would balk at this kind of care for "only a dog" we were simply taking care of a family member who we truly adored - no matter what.

This past summer our two kids, age 3 and 5 naturally wanted to go to the pool every chance they got, our solution - Renee. She was the only pet sitting service that would come to our house beyond 20 minutes (for up to 4 hours) to take care of Calvin so we could have a life outside of the backyard kiddie pool!

She came up with new ways to feed him when he wouldn't eat, she held him when he couldn't get to sleep, she even rocked him to sleep in my daughter's doll stroller! She was compassionate and patient with him when he was hard to settle down. As an added bonus she was a real sweetheart to my kids.

At the end of the summer Calvin passed away. His last few months were difficult for him, we are grateful for all Renee did for our family.
