Policy and Procedures . . .

The following is a list of my policies and procedures. I want all my clients to be as fully informed as possible. If you have any questions please feel free to call me.

1) Always confirm your reservation with me and your pet sitter. Please don't leave a message via E-mail / phone. This prevents pets being left alone because of a missed message.

2) Advanced reservations do not include regularly daily visits. I will call and confirm dates 24/48 hours ahead of time. If you don't hear from me please call and confirm. This is very important. We are all human and there could have been a miscommunication on either side and I do not want any pet to suffer because of it.

3) Please call when you return from your trip. Otherwise I will need to continue visiting to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet. Please call at any time and leave a voice mail with your dog walker and or myself.

4) Cancellation of regularly scheduled daily dog walks must be done 24hrs prior to visit. If this is not done you will be charged the regular rate. I understand that things do come up and 24hrs isn't always the case. When you call we will talk about a possible discount.

5) Cancellations on vacations have to be done in 72hrs before job starts or you will be charged for the complete job. This time has been reserved just for you and other clients may have been turned away and any personal plans have been worked around these scheduled trips.

6) Holidays are $10.00 per day extra

7) Vacation times will be discussed when we do the meet and greet. They can start as early as 6am and go as late as 11pm. What we try to do is keep the pet's schedule.

8) All dogs are required to wear a leash and collar unless in the fenced back yard. Some families have invisible fencing, understand there is a risk of malfunctions with these types of items. Straight leashes are required - your pet sitter will not use a retractable leash.

9) If for any reason your pet gets hurt while you are away. I will contact you ASAP and we will proceed from there. If no contact is made and we feel it is an emergency we will take him to your vet or the nearest emergency hospital. Bill will be discussed when you get back from your trip. Please inform your vet you are going out of town.

10) I reserve the right to adjust the heat / air in your home if I think it is affecting your pet.

11) Please notify me of any other persons in your home while I am caring for your furry kids. I will call you or police if anyone is found in or around your home.

12) Please have enough food and treats for your pets if we run out while you are gone we will go to the store and buy what your pets eat. There will be a $25.00 charge for this plus the regular bill from the pet store.

13) All dog walkers and pet sitters will be interviewed with you at time of meet and greet if this changes for any reason we will contact you prior to walk/ vacation begins.

14) Vacation payments are due at start of job. Daily walks are billed monthly. If for any reason your check should bounce we will no longer take a check from you only cash. There will be a $25.00 service charge if this occurs. A $10.00 late fee is added to your monthly bill if it is not paid by the last week day of each month.

15) No refunds for early returns from vacation

16) Keys are recommended plus a garage code if you like. The power does go out and there will be no way for us to get in. Keys can be returned or we can hold on to them for our next vacation with you.

17) All dogs must be seen a minimum of 2 times per day for vacation sits.

18) All trips are 30 minutes time can be added if need be.

19) A Walk in the Park is not liable for pet stains. However we will clean them up best we can

20) We reserve the right to deny service or terminate service for any reason, but especially in the case of safety concerns, financial, unsanitary situations
